Gregory hands Hayes trial
League One outfit Crawley Town have handed a trial to former Brentford striker Paul Hayes.
The 30-year-old, who made 11 appearances on loan for Town last season, is without a club after having his Bees contract terminated by mutual consent last week.
New Crawley boss John Gregory is looking for more firepower with his side having failed to find the net in their last four games.
Gregory, who takes charge of his first home match against Preston on Saturday, is set to make a decision on Hayes at the end of the week.
