Hamilton v St Johnstone preview

Hamilton will give Tony Andreu a late fitness test before naming their side to face St Johnstone at New Douglas Park on Saturday.

Andreu is yet to play this season as he recovers from a knee injury but has a good chance of taking his place in the team for their third Scottish Premiership fixture of the new campaign.

However, the game comes too early for another midfielder, Jon Routledge, who has shaken off a knee injury but is yet to reach a satisfcatory level of overall fitness.

Defender Dave Mackay is available for St Johnstone.

Mackay was sent off for a last-man foul against Celtic, but Saints appealed and his suspension is shelved before the hearing takes place.

Midfielder Murray Davidson is still working on his fitness following knee surgery.
