Hannon to give Booth cold shoulder
Hibernian's Paul Hanlon will try to blank close friend Callum Booth when they face each other in the William Hill Scottish Cup.
Booth looks set to play for Raith Rovers at Easter Road as his loan agreement did not include a clause forbidding him facing his parent club.
The pair were room-mates at club level and for Scotland Under-21s but left-back Booth was loaned out to Livingston early last season, shortly after Hibs' League Cup defeat by Queen of the South, and he moved to Kirkcaldy on a temporary basis last summer.
Hanlon, who will return from a thigh injury as Hibs continue their quest to reach a third consecutive final, told Hibernian TV: "It will be strange.
"It's been a couple of years nearly since he has played for Hibs so he has not been around the training ground for a while but I obviously keep in touch with him and see him whenever I can.
"It's going to be strange but when it comes to the game you just concentrate on the game and not worry about too much else."
The 24-year-old added: "We are close pals and I speak to him a good few times a week. He stays over in Dunfermline now and I catch up with him whenever I can.
"I will speak to him after the game about it but not too much before."
