
Surrey Heat failed to cut the deficit on Leicester Riders as they remained third in the BBL following an 83-70 defeat by Manchester Giants.
The Giants were 10 points ahead after the second period and despite cutting that by two, the Heat could not claw back the deficit.
Giants' Stefan Gill led all-scorers with 28.
Bottom side Mersey Tigers are still without a point after 22 games following a 58-97 home defeat by Glasgow Rocks, the Scottish team sharing the scoring through the team.
London Lions enjoyed a 94-81 win over Cheshire Phoenix for whom Chez Marks led all-scorers with 23.
