Heat streak halted by Kings

Sacramento Kings recovered from an early 17-point deficit to end Miami Heat's six-game NBA winning streak with a 108-103 overtime victory.

DeMarcus Cousins had 27 points and 17 rebounds, Rudy Gay 26 points and Isaiah Thomas 22 points, 11 assists and seven rebounds for the Kings.

LeBron James finished with 33 points, eight rebounds and eight assists for the short-handed Heat, who were without the rested Dwyane Wade and injured Ray Allen and Chris Andersen.

Elsewhere, the Oklahoma City Thunder claimed their seventh straight road triumph with a 89-85 win over the Bobcats in Charlotte.

Kevin Durant finished with 34 points - 14 in the fourth quarter - and 12 rebounds, while Serge Ibaka had 12 points and nine rebounds for the visitors.

The Atlantic Division-leading Toronto Raptors rallied from a 12-point third-quarter deficit to defeat the New York Knicks 95-83. DeMar DeRozan led the way with 25 points for the victors, with Jonas Valanciunas finishing with 16 points and 18 rebounds.

The Denver Nuggets slumped to their fifth consecutive loss as they went down 105-89 against New Orleans, 19 points and 10 assists from Tyreke Evans helping the Pelicans clinch back-to-back wins.

Orlando snapped a three-game skid with a 109-92 success against the Detroit Pistons, Arron Afflalo (23) top-scoring as five Magic players posted double figures in points.

Utah snapped their four-game home losing streak with a 105-103 triumph over the Los Angeles Lakers, Derrick Favors contributing 18 points - including the game-winning put-back dunk with 2-1 seconds on the clock - and 14 rebounds for the Jazz.

The Brooklyn Nets halted a four-game skid with a 104-93 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks. Shaun Livingston (20) led five home players in double-figure points hauls.

Finally, Kevin Love had 25 points and 11 rebounds in the Minnesota Timberwolves' 120-98 victory over the Washington Wizards, and the Golden State Warriors stretched their winning run to four games with a 115-86 win over the the Phoenix Suns.
