Holdsworth hails "massive" win
Dean Holdsworth described his improving Aldershot side's 1-0 victory at promotion-chasing Burton as a massive three points.
The Shots looked anything but League Two relegation candidates as they held onto a fourth-minute lead given to them by on-loan striker Dani Lopez to make it four games unbeaten on the road.
Jamie Young had to make a rare save to keep out a Billy Kee shot as Burton searched in vain for the equaliser in what was their third match in six days, a game too far according to boss Gary Rowett.
After recording victory at the Pirelli, Holdsworth said: "We're learning as we go along and the effort was fantastic. I'm delighted with that and to come here and get a result like this is a massive three points for us.
"I think we'll start to enjoy it even more as we hopefully move up the table but at the moment we're really digging in for each other and working our socks off. We did the basics well tonight and you could see the team grow in confidence.
"We defended well but it was also about keeping the ball up the front of the pitch as well to take the pressure off the back four, which I thought we did pretty well. I thought the front two (Lopez and Danny Hylton) were a handful and, overall, we came here and did everything right."
