Grant Holt would relish the opportunity of an England cap should one come his way, but remains focused on scoring goals for Norwich.
The 31-year-old journeyman striker has plundered 13 Premier League goals which have helped to all but secure the Canaries' top-flight future.
Holt is the leading English scorer behind Wayne Rooney and there have been calls for him to also be on the plane to Euro 2012.
The Norwich skipper, though, remains relaxed, saying on Sky Sports' Goals on Sunday programme: "People keep chucking stats at me, but the only statistic that matters is if the [England] manager that comes in picks me.
"It is only decided by one person and at the moment we don't know who is getting the job. I will definitely take the opportunity up if someone picks me. I would love to do it and I would do my very best.
"But I've just got to keep doing it for [Norwich manager] Paul Lambert and the team and see if [England] want to pick me."
