Home duo battling for victory
South Africans Darren Fichardt and Jaco Van Zyl looked set to battle it out for victory on the last day of the Africa Open in East London.
Fichardt topped the leaderboard on 18 under par during the final round, with his compatriot one shot back.
Fichardt was three under and Van Zyl two under for the day, with both players, the joint overnight leaders, through seven holes and yet to drop a shot.
Frenchman Gregory Bourdy was in the best position to mount a challenge as he sat three shots further back on 14 under. He was two under after eight holes of his final round.
England's Andy Sullivan was enjoying a successful last day, five under through 13 putting him on 12 under overall and in fourth place.
The clubhouse leader was another South African, Andrew Curlewis, on 10 under following a final-round 67.
