Huddersfield v Derby preview
Huddersfield defender Joel Lynch will return for Thursday's Sky Bet Championship clash with Derby at the John Smith's Stadium.
Lynch missed the weekend draw at Brighton due to a one-game ban and manager Mark Robins must decide whether to recall him to the starting line-up or stick with Murray Wallace, who helped keep a clean sheet in his first start since September.
Leading goalscorer James Vaughan recovered from an ankle injury in time to last the full 90 minutes on Saturday and is expected to resume up front alongside Martin Paterson.
But midfielder Jonathan Hogg (hip) and defender Peter Clarke (knee) remain sidelined as Huddersfield bid for their first league win in four matches.
Meanwhile, Michael Keane will make his first start for Derby when the Rams travel to Huddersfield.
Centre-half Keane has made three substitute appearances since moving to the Championship club on loan from Manchester United last month but the 20-year-old will get his full debut on Boxing Day after Richard Keogh suffered a knee injury at the weekend.
Keogh jarred his right knee and sustained medial ligament damage midway through the first half of the 3-1 home victory over Doncaster and the Rams captain will be out for around a month.
Fellow central defender Zak Whitbread, on loan from Leicester, is nearing a return from the calf injury that has kept him out of action since October.
