Hull KR v Castleford preview

Castleford Tigers could move to within a point of Hull KR in the Super League table with success at New Craven Park on Sunday.

The Tigers are 11th in the table with four wins from their 13 outings this season while KR have collected 11 points from their 13 contests.

The home side are seeking revenge against Castleford following a 34-30 defeat when the teams met at the end of March.

Hull KR coach Craig Sandercock is set to stick with the team that lost to high-flying Wigan Warriors 36-22 last time out.

Prop Ryan O'Hara could make his home debut while Liam Salter is set to continue at centre in the absence of Jake Webster, the club's only lingering injury absentee.

"It's going to be a tough game," commented Sandercock. "Castleford beat us at their place earlier in the year and their forwards were particularly good that night.

"Looking down their squad, they've got a very big pack and we've got to be ready to take them on on Sunday."

Castleford are without both regular half-backs Rangi Chase and Danny Orr through suspension and injury.

Utility back Ryan McGoldrick is also banned which could pave the way for teenager Ryan Brierley to make his debut.

Forward Steve Snitch is out with an ankle injury sustained in training but prop Paul Jackson is in line to make his first appearance of the season after recovering from a hand injury.

Hull KR squad: McDonnell, Hall, Galea, Salter, Withers, O'Hara, Watts, Clinton, Taylor, Lovegrove, J. Hodgson, Paea, Latus, Murrell, Dobson, D. Hodgson, Mika, Welham, Green.

Castleford squad: Owen, Youngquest, Dixon, Griffin, Emmitt, Clark, Huby, Ferres, Walker, Jones, Milner, Hudson, Mitchell, Jackson, Millington, Holmes, Massey, Thompson, Brierley.
