Ihtimal was a convincing winner of the German-Thoroughbred.com Sweet Solera Stakes at Newmarket.

Paul Hanagan attempted to make all on Adhwaa but the winner was handily placed in her slipstream and having been produced to lead with over two furlongs to travel, the daughter of Shamardal was able to keep her rivals at bay and ultimately go away from them as they hit the rising ground.
Midnite Angel stayed on from the rear to run on into second place with Wedding Ring back in third.
Sky Bet's Richard Horner, whose firm go 25/1 for the 1,000 Guineas said: "She will have to improve again to beat the best of her generation next year but she is progressing and has a nice attitude."
