Inkoom eyes Prem switch
A number of Premier League clubs are weighing up moves for Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom, according to reports.
Versatile defender Inkoom is keen to leave Ukraine outfit Dnipro in the New Year in search of regular first-team football after finding himself frozen out things at Dnipro.
The 24-year-old found himself out of favour at Dnipro under Juande Ramos and spent the second half of last season on loan at Bastia.
Inkoom is determined to find a new club in January so that he can safeguard his place in the Ghana squad ahead of next summer's World Cup finals.
Dnipro are thought to be willing to offload Inkoom so that they can get him off their wage bill as he does not figure in their plans.
The news has alerted several clubs in the Premier League with Norwich thought to be leading the chase to bring Inkoom to England, while a number of Spanish and French sides are keeping tabs on his situation.
Inkoom has attracted the interest of a number of English clubs in the past prior to his move to Dnipro and he admits it has always been one of his dreams to play in the Premier League.
"It is very important for me to be playing week in, week out with the World Cup coming up next summer," Inkoom told Sky Sports.
"I have not been allowed to do that for Dnipro and I hope to find a new club in January.
"I have had the chance to move to the Premier League in the past and I will not miss the chance this time if the right offer comes along.
