Officials at Leicester remain optimistic about their chances of racing on Sunday despite calling a precautionary 8am inspection.
Clerk of the course Jimmy Stevenson is expecting an overnight frost but is hopeful of racing if the forecast proves correct.
He said: "I'm hopeful of racing as long as the temperature doesn't drop too low.
"We are perfectly raceable this morning which has put us in a much better position.
"We are forecast a low of minus 3C and if that is right, I wouldn't be too worried about it."
