Wolverhampton goes ahead
Monday afternoon's all-weather meeting at Wolverhampton will go ahead after it passed a morning inspection.
Clerk of the course Fergus Cameron found the track to be unraceable following overnight snow, prompting the morning check to assess the situation once the surface had been worked.
He reports conditions to be favourable once again now though, and the fixture goes ahead as planned.
He said: "Obviously following the overnight snow, we weren't raceable first thing this morning and felt it was appropriate to let everyone know.
"We have been working the track this morning, it is responding and temperatures are now above freezing.
"We are forecast up to eight millimetres of rain today and temperatures rising to 3C so we are not anticipating any further problems."
