Interest mounts in Boyce

Sky Sports understands a host of English and Scottish clubs are chasing Northern Ireland hot-shot Liam Boyce.

Cliftonville striker Boyce is out of contract this summer and his availability on a free transfer has alerted several sides in England and Scotland.

The 23-year-old has been a revelation for Cliftonville for the last two seasons, helping them win back-to-back titles and scoring 60 goals in the process.

League Two champions Chesterfield are thought to have expressed an interest in signing Boyce, while a number of League One and Scottish Premiership sides are keeping tabs on his situation.

Boyce's agent, Stephen Whelan, has confirmed there has been a great deal of interest in the Northern Ireland international and that he is weighing up his options.

"There has certainly been quite a bit of interest shown in Liam from a number of clubs," Whelan told Sky Sports.

"Liam is a free agent this summer and he is keeping his options open as he waits and see what offers come his way."
