Inverness v Aberdeen preview

Inverness Caley skipper Richie Foran is definitely out of Friday night's Scottish Premiership clash with Aberdeen.

The Irishman has undergone surgery on a long-term knee problem, but he will be fit for the start of pre-season training.

Caley Thistle will also be without defender Graeme Shinnie as he served a one match suspension.

Aberdeen will be without Ryan Jack when they travel to the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium, as the midfielder is suspended.

Winger Jonny Hayes has returned to training following a collarbone injury but he is unlikely to make the game against his former club.

Derek McInnes otherwise has a full squad with on loan defender Alan Tate and forward Calvin Zola both fit.

The Dons are leading the pack in the race for second place in the league and will be hoping to bounce back after losing 2-1 to St Johnstone in last Sunday's Scottish Cup semi-final.
