Ishant out of India's plans
Ishant Sharma has been omitted from India's squad for the World Twenty20 next month.
The lanky pace bowler has been in poor form in recent months and pays for it with his place for the tournament in Bangladesh as well as the Asia Cup, which is being held in the same country from February 25.
Yuvraj Singh and Suresh Raina are included in the T20 squad despite either being ignored for India's recent 50-over games or, in Raina's case, struggling badly for runs - he has just one half-century in 24 innings.
Stuart Binny, son of former India all-rounder Roger, is included in both squads on the back of some excellent form in the Irani Trophy.
Test star Cheteshwar Pujara, who has only played in two one-day internationals, is recalled to the 50-over side for the Asia Cup as one of few changes from the 20-over party.
