James stars in Heat victory

LeBron James had 21 points and 14 rebounds to lift the Miami Heat to a 103-82 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

James also had eight assists while Dwayne Wade returned from two games out - both of which the Heat lost - to score 19 points.

Kevin Martin led the Timberwolves with 19 points.

Paul George poured in 28 points for the Indiana Pacers as they broke their San Antonio hoodoo by beating the Spurs 111-100.

The Pacers had lost their last 11 matches against the Spurs but George's effort, plus 20 points from David West, saw them to victory this time.

Monta Ellis scored 22 points including a jump shot at the buzzer to give the Dallas Mavericks a 108-106 win over the Portland Trail Blazers.

Dirk Nowitzki scored 28 points for the Mavericks as they won a third game in a row and ended the Blazers' winning streak at four.

Klay Thompson led a dominant Golden State performance with 30 points as the Warriors beat the Memphis Grizzlies 108-82.

David Lee added 23 points and 11 rebounds, while Stephen Curry added 22 points and 15 assists.

Brandon Jennings fired Detroit to their fourth straight win with 33 points in the Pistons' 92-75 victory over the Chicago Bulls.

DeMarcus Cousins helped the Sacramento Kings halt their six-game losing streak as his 28 points lifted them to a 112-102 overtime victory over the Utah Jazz.

The Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Los Angeles Clippers 88-82, the Brooklyn Nets overcame the Milwaukee Bucks 90-82 and the Denver Nuggets were 103-92 victors over the Philadelphia 76ers.
