Johnson: Latics were excellent
Oldham boss Lee Johnson was delighted with his side's display as they earned a crucial point at Leyton Orient.
The Latics looked on course for a defeat until Korey Smith's 90th-minute volley earned a 1-1 draw at Brisbane Road.
"I thought it was a good point and we played well," he said. "I thought our shape was good in the first half and we had some good chances.
"The midfield three were superb in the first half and the three substitutes made an impact when they came on after the interval but we need to get our strikers scoring.
"A lot of teams have said that we are one of the best sides they've played against and we played some excellent stuff here. I thought we had them on the ropes for a good period of time.
"Orient have got dangerous players and are good at set-pieces but I was really proud of my boys and the fans and I am really going to enjoy the journey home because I was really impressed with my side.
"It's the first time that I've been able to get the same team out twice in the whole of this season, can you believe that? For whatever reason, injuries, illness, suspensions, but everybody is getting fit now.
"Now we have to continue this improved run that we are on, be very vigilant and be sure that everyone continues the work ethic - and then we need someone to come along and stick the ball in the net."
