Johnson poised to make return

Andy Johnson could play a part in Queens Park Rangers' play-off bid after recovering from injury.

The 33-year-old striker has been sidelined since February due an ankle problem.

But Johnson proved his fitness with two goals for QPR's under-21 side as they beat Millwall 3-1.

The former Crystal Palace and Fulham frontman's return means boss Harry Redknapp has yet another option in attack having also seen Charlie Austin and Bobby Zamora return to fitness in recent weeks.

Wolves loanee Kevin Doyle is also close to coming back after a knee injury.
