Mark Johnston has booked Fran Berry for a number of rides at Beverley on Saturday but reports it is simply because of the fixture logjam.
Johnston does not have a stable jockey this season and has been picking from the likes of Silvestre de Sousa, Kieren Fallon and Mirco Demuro, as well as the long-serving Joe Fanning.
Berry, one of the top riders in Ireland, could have nearly a full book at the Westwood on an afternoon where there are five British Flat meetings nationwide.
Johnston said: "It's just so busy on Saturday and Fran has mentioned before that he can be available to help out. He's ridden for us in Ireland so we're happy to use him."
