Jones: Davies ready to return
Scarlets backs coach Mark Jones says Jonathan Davies is ready to return for Wales at Twickenham following his performance in Saturday's win over Munster.
Davies made his first appearance in a month at the Parc y Scarlets, playing 65 minutes as the home side ran out 18-13 winners.
The centre has not featured for Wales since tearing a pectoral muscle against South Africa in November but Jones was impressed by his display and believes he could feature for Wales in Sunday's crunch Six Nations game with England.
Jones told the South Wales Evening Post: "His performance was pretty good considering the length of time he has been out and his lack of rugby.
"He is a perfectionist so he will never be happy with his performance.
"But he has shown he is fit and with his first carry of the game that he has not lost any of that line-breaking ability.
"He will give Wales a boost when he returns back for duty on Monday.
"Thankfully, I don't have to make the decision because it will be a difficult decision to make, but whatever backline Wales put out next weekend it will be a good one.
"George (North) did a good job, particularly in attack against France, and Liam (Williams) was good on the wing.
"Having Jon Davies come back into the equation is not a bad thing and I am sure they will field a good side regardless."
