Junior leaves Everton on loan
Everton midfielder Francisco Junior has joined Eredivise side Vitesse Arnhem on a season-long loan deal.
The Portuguese youth international heads to Holland for some first-team experience having played just once for Everton since his arrival in January 2012.
Junior's only senior outing was in last season's Capital One Cup third round defeat against Leeds United at Elland Road.
Meanwhile, Toffees striker Conor McAleny has had his loan deal with League One Brentford cancelled.
The 21-year-old joined the Bees on a six-month deal in July but fractured his right tibia in just his fourth appearance.
McAleny suffered the injury during Brentford's match against Walsall on 23 August at Griffin Park.
