Just A Way made to fight

Impressive Dubai Duty Free winner Just A Way was made to work all the way to the line to win the Yasuda Kinen at Tokyo.

Rated as one of the best horses in the world after his romp at Meydan, the five-year-old only just caught the massive outsider, Grand Prix Boss, who finished down the field behind Frankel in the St James's Palace Stakes three years ago.

Ridden by Yoshitomi Shibata in place of the suspended Yuichi Fukunaga, Shibata allowed Grand Prix Boss to gain a healthy advantage in the straight before being asked to close and eventually winning by a neck.

Just A Way holds an entry in the QIPCO Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown.
