Kaka has been named in the Brazil squad for next month's two friendly matches against Iraq and Japan
The Real Madrid midfielder has not played for the national team since their quarter-final defeat to Holland at the 2010 World Cup.
Coach Mano Menezes has included the 30-year-old in a 23-man squad for the games against Iraq in Malmo, Sweden, on October 11 and against Japan in Wroclaw, Poland, five days later, the Brazilian Football Confederation announced on their website.
Kaka has found first-team opportunities at Madrid few and far between this season and has been closely linked with a move away from the club.
He gave boss Jose Mourinho a stark reminder of his talents with a hat-trick against Colombians Millonarios in a 8-0 Santiago Bernabeu Trophy win last night.
