Peterborough midfielder Danny Kearns is set for a loan spell away from London Road, Darren Ferguson has confirmed.
Kearns, 21, who joined Posh from Irish side Dundalk last summer, has yet to feature for the Championship club so far this season.
With Tommy Rowe poised to return to first-team contention after suffering a broken collar bone during pre-season, Kearns' opportunities are set to be further limited.
Ferguson told the media at his pre-match press gathering ahead of Saturday's league game at home to Wolves: "I will be sending Danny Kearns out on loan soon.
"I've discussed it with him and we agree that going out to get a few games under his belt will be the best thing for the player and the club."
