Kemp and King bow out

Stacey Kemp and David King are out of the Winter Olympics figure skating competition after another night of woe.

The eight-times British champions made their first appearance in Sochi at the team event last Thursday and King admitted they were far from their best after Kemp had crashed to the ice following a throw.

The English duo, who are engaged, found themselves in trouble once more tonight when Kemp fell again during the pairs short programme for which they were awarded 44.98 after a one-point deduction, ultimately leaving them in 19th place with only the top-16 qualifying for the free programme on Wednesday night.
