Kilmarnock v St Mirren preview

Kilmarnock manager Allan Johnston will choose from a similar squad to the one that lost out to Hibernian at the weekend for the visit of St Mirren.

Midfielders James Fowler (knee), Reuben Gabriel (ankle) and David Silva (ankle) are still missing along with defender Ismael Bouzid (knee).

But Johnston has the option of bringing experienced pair Sammy Clingan and Barry Nicholson into his midfield should he wish to freshen things up.

St Mirren will be without captain Jim Goodwin after he elected not to contest a two-match ban for an errant elbow during Sunday's victory over Dundee United.

Goalkeeper Marian Kello has signed a contract extension until the end of the season.

The 31-year-old Slovakian goalkeeper has been with the Buddies since October, making 11 appearances, and has now agreed a six-month extension.

New loan signing from Newcastle Adam Campbell could feature at some point but Danny Lennon has announced that fellow loanees David Cornell, Stephane Bahoken and Jake Caprice will be returning to their parent clubs.
