Potenial American raider Stephanie's Kitten has been ruled out of the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot after a late setback.
The decision was taken after trainer Wayne Catalano reported last year's Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf winner to be not quite 100%.
"She has an elevated white-cell count, and we just don't want to take any chances with her," he told Daily Racing Form.
"She's fine. It's just that she's only like 90% and if you're going to run against some of the best fillies in the world over there, you need to be 110%."
