Manchester City defender Aleksandar Kolarov will face no further police action following an inquiry into alleged racist abuse.
The Serbian player was accused following a dispute with two fans who were holding an Albanian flag at Newcastle's St James' Park on Saturday, December 15.
Police launched an investigation after it was alleged the fans were abused as Kolarov warmed up on the touchline at the Premier League fixture.
A Northumbria Police spokeswoman said: "We can confirm there will be no further police action."
