Kopitar helps Kings to victory

Anze Kopitar scored twice to help the Los Angeles Kings rally to a 6-4 win over the Colorado Avalanche.

Robyn Regehr opened the scoring for the Kings, but goals from Ryan O'Reilly, PA Parenteau, Jamie McGinn and Andre Benoit - punctuated by a reply from Jarret Stoll - put Colorado 4-2 ahead midway through the second period.

Kopitar began the fightback and then put his side ahead decisively at 5-4 after Jeff Carter had levelled things up, before Justin WIlliams rounded out the scoring 12 seconds from the end.

Matt D'Agostini scored in overtime to give the Buffalo Sabres a 5-4 win over the Boston Bruins.

Zemgus Girgensons, Tyler Myers, Brian Flynn and Matt Moulson - who levelled the game up in the last minute of regulation - also scored for the Sabres.

Elsewhere, the Detroit Red Wings beat the Montreal Canadiens 2-1 in overtime and the Vancouver Canucks edged out the St Louis Blues 1-0.
