Koren calm on contract talks
Hull City midfielder Robert Koren says there is no rush to enter into discussions regarding a contract extension.
The Slovenian playmaker will see his current deal at the KC Stadium expire at the end of the season.
No talks have been held regarding fresh terms, suggesting that Koren is facing up to an uncertain future.
The 33-year-old acknowledges, though, that the club's focus at present is locked on their efforts to preserve their Premier League status.
Once that situation becomes clearer, Koren will then be informed of where he stands and whether a new deal will be tabled.
He told Sportal: "So far, there have been no talks, but we'll see how things develop,
"Much will depend on how the season unfolds. At the end, we will sit down and we what happens.
"For now, I have a contract until the end of the season and I'm in no hurry. I'm focused on my work and I'll do everything to help Hull City reach their goals.
"I'm working from week to week and I'm not interested in what will happen in a few months."
