Kubica continues his return
Robert Kubica will continue his motor racing comeback by competing in two further rallies this month, courtesy of Citroen.
Kubica won two minor rally events in Italy in September as he stepped up his return following an horrific accident in February last year.
Kubica is to drive a Citroen C4 WRC, a car that helped propel nine-times World Rally champion Sebastien Loeb to four his of his titles from 2007 to 2010.
The 27-year-old Pole, who competed in 76 Formula One grands prix from 2006 to 2010 prior to his accident, will initially drive in Rally di Como in Italy from November 15-17.
Kubica will then move on to the Rallye du Var, the eighth and final round of the French Tarmac Rally Championship, on November 23-25.
Kubica said: "I can't wait to drive a car that is as quick and has been as successful as the C4 WRC.
"After completing a test session so that I can get used to the car, competing in the Rally di Como will, above all, be an opportunity to get a feel for the car and learn more about driving it in racing conditions.
"The objective will be different for the Rallye du Var. It will be the third time I have taken part, so it's a rally with which I am already familiar and where I feel comfortable.
"First and foremost I want to rack up as many miles as possible and improve in the category."
