Zdravko Kuzmanovic has outlined his intention to quit Stuttgart next year - earning him a rebuke from the club's director of sport Fredi Bobic.
Kuzmanovic has become increasingly frustrated at his failure to earn a place in the starting XI and now wants out, either in January or when his contract expires at the end of the season.
The 25-year-old, who joined Stuttgart from Fiorentina for a club-record 8 million euros in July 2009, told Stuttgart media: "It's simple. Next year I'm out of here."
Kuzmanovic was an unused substitute in Stuttgart's first home win of the season at the weekend - a 2-1 victory against Eintracht Frankfurt - and Bobic hinted he would not stand in the player's way should he want to leave.
"I can understand the disappointment when a player is only a substitute," he said in remarks reported by www.kicker.de.
"But the way he did it was counterproductive. This does not show a lot of team spirit."
Kuzmanovic, capped 46 times by Serbia, should have little trouble in finding a new club having reportedly rejected the chance to return to Serie A in the summer.
