Crawley defender Kyle McFadzean has backed Craig Brewster for the full-time manager's job.
Brewster is currently in caretaker charge of Town following Steve Evans' surprise move to Rotherham in April, and McFadzean has been impressed by his methods.
"Everybody respects him and listens to him," he told the Crawley Observer. "He gives good advice and is a good manager.
"What we do in training has changed a bit, a lot of what we do now we didn't do before. We never practised short corners, we just lumped it in the box, we work on set-pieces against and set-pieces for.
"We do work a lot on possession and although we are being told to keep it, that can be a bit hard in some situations.
"To be honest I think Craig would do a good job."
