Henri Lansbury is close to making his first start for Nottingham Forest, according to Reds boss Sean O'Driscoll.
Lansbury made his first appearance for the club as a half-time substitute in the 2-1 Championship defeat at Leeds on Saturday.
The England Under-21 midfielder, who moved to the City Ground from Arsenal at the end of August in a deal reported to be worth £1million, has been recovering from an ankle injury he sustained during pre-season.
"He was on the bench [at Leeds] because he is not quite fully fit," said O'Driscoll. "But he had been showing some good touches in training, which is why we had him in the squad."
Meanwhile, on loan Chelsea defender Sam Hutchinson could resume training this week following a recent knee problem.
O'Driscoll added: "Sam has had an injection in his knee. Hopefully we can get him back in training this week as well."
