Leicester v Burnley preview
Leicester have been dealt an injury blow ahead of their live Sky clash against Sky Bet Championship leaders Burnley with the news that Chris Wood will be out until the New Year.
Wood has a hamstring problem and the New Zealand international striker is expected to be sidelined for four weeks, meaning he will also miss out against the Foxes' fellow automatic promotion hopefuls QPR and his former club Millwall.
Captain Wes Morgan is a doubt for third-placed Leicester as the centre-back has been ill this week.
Defender Liam Moore, midfielders Matty James and Anthony Knockaert and strikers Jeff Schlupp and Gary Taylor-Fletcher are among those players vying for recalls to the starting line up while right-back Ritchie De Laet is nearing a return to the squad after two months out with a shin problem.
Midfielders Dean Marney and Keith Treacy, meanwhile, will come into consideration for table-topping Burnley's trip to fellow high-fliers Leicester.
The pair were absent for the Clarets' win over Barnsley last time out, a 1-0 victory which ended their six-match winless sequence, yet both trained at the end of this week prior to their visit to the King Power Stadium.
Marney has not featured since early November because of a thigh strain but his return will given boss Sean Dyche a full squad to select from, barring Ross Wallace (knee), who will not be back until the new year.
This clash kicks off at 12.15pm and a win for the Foxes would elevate them from third up above Dyche's men, who are still the division's pace-setters.
