Lennon: Forster was fantastic

Celtic manager Neil Lennon was delighted with the performance of goalkeeper Fraser Forster after watching his side claim a 2-0 victory over Dundee.

The Celtic keeper made a point-blank save from Colin Nish during another accomplished display.

And with Georgios Samaras and Gary Hooper producing two smart finishes at the other end, Lennon's side claimed their fifth consecutive SPL league and moved seven points clear at the top of the league.

Lennon said: "I'm overall pleased with the performance on a difficult pitch, it was quite rutted and bobbly. We have to adapt at times better to the conditions but we had two real bits of quality to win the game.

"I had to rely on my goalkeeper to make a fantastic save. We have seen that time and time again - it was another wonderful point-blank save.

"Thankfully he was able to keep a clean sheet and we went on to win with a superb individual goal again from Hooper.

"I didn't think we started the second half well at all but when (James) Forrest came on he just gives a better balance to the team and it's a great win for us."
