Leuluai out of Catalan clash

Leeds prop forward Kylie Leuluai has been given a one-match ban after being found guilty of punching.

Leuluai will miss the champions' Super League preliminary semi-final against Catalan Dragons in Perpignan on Friday night after he was given a one-match ban.

Leuluai, who has been absent for only one of the Rhinos' 34 matches so far this season, was given the suspension, along with a £300 fine, after being found guilty by the Rugby Football League's disciplinary committee of a grade B offence of punching.

He had been cited by the RFL's match-review panel for the offence on winger Peter Fox in the last minute of the Rhinos' 42-20 play-off win over Wakefield last Saturday.

Huddersfield second-row forward Brett Ferres was also suspended for one match after he was found guilty of committing a grade B dangerous lift on hooker Danny Houghton during his side's 46-10 play-off defeat at Hull on Sunday.
