Lewis lands UK Open
Adrian Lewis collected his fourth major darts title in style as he battered Terry Jenkins 11-1 to win the Coral UK Open title at Butlins Minehead.
The two-time world champion was the last man standing in the 'FA Cup of darts' as he came through a field of 138 players to claim the £50,000 first prize.
Lewis defeated Mensur Suljovic in the quarter-finals and followed that up with a win over struggling Mervyn King, who fought bravely despite suffering with sciatica in his back.
Jackpot won nine successive legs against a shell-shocked Jenkins - hitting six 180s and a 121 outshot as he averaged just over 109 during the biggest win in a UK Open final.
It was another bitter pill to swallow for Jenkins, who has now made eight appearances in major finals without being able to get over the line and lift a trophy.
The Bull had produced a brilliant run in Minehead, which included a stunning 10-8 victory over world champion Michael van Gerwen in the semi-finals.
