Lillis pens Dale deal
Rochdale goalkeeper Josh Lillis has agreed a new two-year contract with the newly-promoted club.
Lillis' current deal is due to expire this summer and manager Keith Hill had said keeping hold of the 26-year-old would be key to his summer recruitment plans.
Assistant manager Chris Beech told the club's official website: "He was tremendous this season and was a massive cog in the wheel, helping us gain promotion to League One.
"What's impressed me and Keith this season has been the way he has distributed the ball. Josh has developed a vision, which is benefitting the team as a whole.
"He got better and better as the season progressed and we're really pleased that we have acquired his services for another two years."
Lillis missed only one game last season, through illness, and kept 21 clean sheets in all competitions.
He began his career at Scunthorpe and after loan spells at Notts County and Grimsby had two temporary stints at Rochdale before signing a permanent deal in the summer of 2012.
Meanwhile, player/goalkeeping coach Steve Collis, 33, has also agreed a new two-year deal with the club.
