The England Lions were unable to salvage anything from their tour of Australia as their final one-day game against Australia A was washed out.
Having lost all four of their previous games, the squad captained by James Taylor were unable to take to the field at the Sydney Cricket Ground owing to torrential rain.
They will now return to England with an unenviable tour record behind them, having also failed to win any of their three warm-up games against Victoria.
