
England Lions slumped to a disappointing 113-run defeat to Australia A in the third match of their unofficial ODI series.
Only James Taylor emerged from the clash in Hobart with any credit, with the skipper hitting an unbeaten 78 in a losing cause.
Gary Balance (26) and Toby Roland-Jones (15) were the only other members of the Lions line-up to reach double figures as the tourists were rolled over for 143.
Alister McDermott (3-32) was the pick of the Australia attack, while Josh Hazlewood and Cameron Boyce claimed two wickets apiece.
Plundered
Earlier, Australia had been able to score runs at a decent pace as they posted 256-6 from their 50 overs.
Aaron Finch set the tone with 57 at the top of the order, while Callum Ferguson top-scored with 65 from 64 balls.
Ben Rohrer also weighed in with 43 and Tim Paine plundered 38 off 33 balls late on.
Simon Kerrigan took 2-27 for the Lions, however Stuart Meaker suffered as he finished with 1-70 off his 10 overs.
