Lions v Cheetahs: Teams

The Lions take on the Cheetahs in a South African derby at Ellis Park on Saturday looking to finish the season on a high.

Johan Ackermann's side won their first Super Rugby derby clash in 2014 with a 34-17 victory over the Rebels last time and will be aiming to build on this success.

In team news, Elton Jantjies starts at flyhalf in place of Marnitz Boshoff, Lionel Mapoe will start in the place of Deon van Rensburg, while Andries Coetzee comes in at fullback having returned from injury.

In the forwards, Ackermann has opted for consistency, making no changes to the group after last weekend's win.

For the Cheetahs, coach Naka Drotske has retained the same match day team that beat the Sharks 27-20 last week, including the same replacements bench.

The game sees three players reach the 50 Super Rugby caps milestone - Jantjies and Mapoe for the Lions, with Johann Sadie for the Cheetahs.
