West Brom striker Shane Long believes that whoever replaces Roy Hodgson will inherit a team capable of pushing on and improving even further.
The Baggies will have to appoint a new manager at the end of the season after Hodgson was named as Fabio Capello's permanent successor with England.
But the team have been in good form in recent weeks and extended their unbeaten run to four matches by coming from behind to hold Bolton 2-2 on Sunday.
Long was impressed by the battling qualities his side displayed at the weekend and feels the future is bright.
"We don't know how to lose at the moment and it's a good frame of mind to be in," he told the club's official website.
"We don't give up easily and that will stand us in good stead for next season.
"To show the determination to want to win games is a credit to us. We've had some really good results away from home this season and I think it's because we always have a good turnout of fans."
