Longo reveals Prem ambition

Inter Milan starlet Samuele Longo has revealed that he wants to extend his loan at Espanyol and play in England one day.

The 21-year-old striker is yet to force his way into the first-team set-up at Inter on a regular basis and has been allowed to spend the 2012/13 campaign in Spain as a result.

The Italy U21 international has impressed with Espanyol and admits he would welcome the opportunity to prolong his stay in Catalunya.

"I'd be happy for another year," he said.

"We'll see what will happen, but I think at the moment only about playing and continuing to fight for a starting spot.

"I do not know about any Inter regrets, I only know that for the moment I am very happy here at Espanyol."

Longo also claims that he is hoping to take in a spell in the Premier League at some stage in his career.

He added: "Football is strange, but I have great confidence in my ability and I know that I should.

"For the future, I dream of playing in the Premier League."
