Matthew Lowton is relishing the chance to come up against former Aston Villa right-back and close friend Kyle Walker this weekend.
Walker impressed during a six-month loan spell at Villa Park at the end of the 2010/11 campaign and has gone on to earn England honours since returning to Tottenham.
And Lowton is also hoping to follow in the footsteps of Kyle Naughton who, like himself and Walker, came through Sheffield United's academy before moving to the Premier League.
"The two Kyles are both doing fantastic and both came through the same academy as I did," said Lowton.
"They played in the same teams as me when I was younger too so it is nice to think I can follow in their footsteps."
Lowton witnessed Walker make his goalscoring debut for Villa against the Blades in the FA Cup in January 2011.
And the 23-year-old is excited for a potential showdown on Sunday.
"It was a fantastic goal and it was written in the stars really, Kyle coming back to Bramall Lane and scoring a goal like that," added Lowton.
"Hopefully I can go on to achieve what he has done."
