Lugano eyes PSG exit

Paris St Germain defender Diego Lugano has revealed he is looking to leave the French club in January.

The Uruguay international is out of favour in Paris as manager Carlo Ancelotti has preferred the Brazilian pairing of Alex and Thiago Silva at centre-back.

And it is to Brazil that Lugano could be heading with Gremio and former club Sao Paulo linked with a move for the 31-year-old.

But the Uruguayan is not averse to the idea of staying at Parc des Princes - if he is wanted.

"In January I'll try to move to a team where I can play more often," Lugano told Radio 22 Universal.

"But if they (PSG) decide not to let me go, I won't be opposed to the idea."
