Bristol Rovers loanee Matt Lund would 'love to come back' for a third spell at the Memorial Stadium.
The Stoke City midfielder, 22, marked his final game of a six-month loan stay in Bristol with the goal which turned out to be the winner in the 2-1 victory over Plymouth Argyle and is not ruling out pulling on a blue and white shirt again until the end of the season.
"I've spoken to (Rovers boss) John Ward about the future, but I have to go back and speak to the staff at Stoke before any decisions are made," he told this is Bristol.
"I'd love to come back again. I've had a fantastic time here and Bristol Rovers has been great for me in terms of developing my career.
"It has been a great experience and I will only take good memories away from here if I don't come back."
Rovers' victory over Argyle was their first for two months and they host Gillingham on Saturday just one point from safety at the foot of League Two.
