Lunt set for Giants return
Huddersfield may recall influential hooker Shaun Lunt when they take on Warrington in the Super League on Sunday.
The 26-year-old former England international has been sidelined with a knee injury since the Giants' opening match of the season but is pushing for a return.
"He trained today and, if he comes through Friday and Saturday, he could be returning," said Huddersfield head coach Paul Anderson.
"We've missed him. A lot of pressure has been put on Kyle Wood to steer a team around the field."
Less positive news for the Giants is the injury sustained by Joe Wardle, who fell awkwardly and sprained an ankle during the 30-14 defeat by Catalan Dragons in Perpignan.
Anderson added of the 22-year-old: "He's done a fair amount of damage so he'll be missing for three to four weeks, which is not as bad as it could have been."
